Christianity in a Muslim Eyes

For more than six months I do attened the Sunday Prayers in the local community Church, many times I think of blogging about my feelings and views regarding those visits..
In the begning, first couple of weeks I had such strange feeling to be there, regarding the loud music, which was Jazz type, although I don't consider Jazz as my favorite music type, but I felt some thing different, while am experiencing my presence with all of those believers, to be amonge faithful people, and to feel that faith roaming around, even if you believe in the opposite idea, you will feel some thing different and special that time, it's so touching, later I felt comfortable comming to the church..and the comparison went very deep,
every time I listen to the preach I know again that they are Muslim " In my understanding of Islam", since I do understand it in the standard way of it, and as it came..with alot of thinking regarding the basic concepts which include the reason of the instruction a base of it's existence..for example, if you don't have slaves, you don't have to free them according to Islam instructions, to differenciate between the tool/means and the objective/aim ..ok, while am in the church I discovered that there are very little differences between Islam and Christianity, which could only be in the practice and in the cultural charactristics, beside the fact that I have recently discover, about the main difference between Quran and Bible..which could be concluded in one point which I will mention later in this blog..
To answer the few differences questions, I used to have some discussions with the church service staff, who are sudanese and most of them are refugees but all of them are from south of Sudan, which is known about Sudan that the christianity is common among Southern Sudanese excluding very few individual cases of north, middle, west or east of Sudan..
I used to discuss the difference, trying to find an acceptable explanation for me as a Muslim to some of the Bible termonology like Son, Father, Parternship of the Holy Spirit, God Jesus..etc
They promised to have more time with me, in a fellowship, but I decide to join the Bible Study School..
Which I started two weeks ago, I m now having a better understandng of Christianity, which is basicly agrees with Islam 100 Percentage! in all of the concepts and differes only in practice.
while am in the last lesson the day before, I discovered some thing regarding Bible and Quran, while some student was reading for the rest, who was following him, I found that the phrase is different in my book, so I recognized that there are many versions for the Bible..which is not in Quran, where all of the versions are the same, but only some few differents to be counted on hand fingers, which is known and the differences in few words came according to seven differences in the dealcts of the citizen of Arab Island at that very old age..
may be the same property could be applied to Bible, till now am not sure about this fact..
in my own opinion, that God Religions are completing each other..the first historically, is providing the basics, and the late onces came to complete the structure..and the Islam is the last one, which cares about the last matters to be discussed in religion..which is involved into politics, and economic, science, arts, and history, power and stratigies..etc which are far from religion in the previous God messages..
but never separate from the prvious religious, just as all Muslim know, if they didn't believe in previous holy books they are not truely Muslims..
I open here the door widely for discussion, the ability of dialouge between Christians and Muslims, who understands the basic of thier religions, as well as the basics of other religions of the world, at least to respect other opinion, when they demand the personal freedom, including the thoughts and bleiefs freedom..they should give it too, and know very well, that the freedom which is suitable for good human being, is the freedom that could match every body need-of-freedom in same time, and location..or what do you think?

MS. Excel Course for Refugees

Today was the examination day for the course that has organized by ST. Anderw United Church of Cairo (an English Speaking Church), for a group of 12 African Refugeesin Cairo.
the course has started on 22nd of May, continued through the last two months, two days a week.
the course was about using MS EXCEL 2000. The students were eager to knowledge, but the the level of English for this group was an obstacle, also the shortage of the time set for practice since there are no excercise time in the laboratory, which increase the difficulty of the course process (+ the language issue)..
the experience was wonderful, to have a direct and close view of the problems that faces the adult educator in such conditions..
I am so happy that we came to the end of the course, they students have thier guide books which will give them a chance for imporvement in thier own charge and time..according to thier ability to learn and desire to know much more about the subject they have just passed through in this course..
It was very valuable volunteering experience which I wish to repeat in the soonest..
